LIST OF PARTICULARS TO BE ATTACHED TO APPLICATION FORMS OF REGISTRATION AS A CITIZEN OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF DOMINICA
Two (2) completed Application Forms
Letter from the applicant addressed to the Honourable Minister for Labour, Public Service Reform, Social Partnership, Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development requesting citizenship
A testimonial from any two of the following persons:
- Police Officer from the community or working within the community of the rank of Corporal or higher;
- Chairman of the Village Council;
- Principal or teacher in the community;
- A doctor or Community Nurse;
- Prominent Public Officer;
- Member of Parliament or Notary Public
- Member of the Clergy
- Any other person whom by virtue of his/her status or position may be considered fit to so recommend
Medical Certificate including HIV Test, Tuberculosis Test and proof of COVID-19 vaccination
Statement of Account from a Bank or Financial Institution (Must provide six months average balance of the account at that institution)
Police Record of the applicant from the Commonwealth of Dominica
Four (4) Passport sized photos
Marriage Certificate (if applicable)
Birth Certificate
Letter of employment from current employer
Vaccination card must meet the following standards: –
- Vaccination Card or Certificate must show full vaccination against COVID-19 Virus
- Proof of full vaccination as approved by the Ministry of Health
- Vaccination card must be issued by a hospital; medical centre; national public health or pharmacy
- Vaccination card must be in English
Copy of Work, Residence and or Permanent Residence Permit
- British and other applicants from the Commonwealth must have at least five (05) work or residence permit
- Applicants from non-Commonwealth nations must have at least seven (07) work or residence permit
- Applicants married to Dominicans (irrespective of nationality) must have at least three (03) work or residence permit
Copy of the bio-data page of the passport and the pages with the date of issue and expiry date of extension of stay.

All documents must be submitted in English (Notarized by a Commissioner of Oaths)
FEES AND COSTS: Fees for Application process
Two hundred and fifty dollars ($250.00) processing fees (non-refundable) per applicant for both adult and children applicants

SELF-EMPLOYED APPLICANT/APPLICANTS WHO ARE BUSINESS OWNERS:
- Self-employed applicants should present evidence of up-to-date social security and income tax payments where
- Applicants who are business owners should present evidence of up-to-date social security and income tax payments, as well as evidence of their companies being in good standing. Yearly fees and other companies fees must be duly paid and the relevant payment certificates must form part of the evidence
SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS
If an applicant is successful in his or her application for Citizenship of the Commonwealth of Dominica, the following applies:
- Oath of Allegiance – Oath to be taken before a Commissioner for Oaths
- Payment of a registration fee of two thousand dollars (EC$2,00)
